Sierra XR8, as I understand it is a homologation special for Group One racing produced in 250 units. It had the 302 from the Mustang. Neat little car right?

So, basically, what happens to US-sold Merkur XR4Ti’s after their turbo-4s die? It’s a shame Ford didn’t want to cannibalize Mustang sales but that would’ve been a cool car to sell stateside!

Neat, but I’d rather have that RS200...

Related: I want to say they raced V8 Merkurs in IMSA GTO. I think the early cars had the 4 banger, but they eventually switched to the V8.
